MoodFace is a one-time purchase macOS application designed to display your Mac's system health through animated characters and fun dialogue. We built MoodFace with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal information.

Information We Collect

None. MoodFace does not collect any personally identifiable information, analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or account information. There is:

No cloud sync

Local System Information

MoodFace reads certain macOS system information solely to display your Mac's current status and determine your companion's mood. This information is processed entirely on your Mac and never leaves your device.

Number of running applications
Name of the highest memory-consuming application (displayed locally only)

Data Storage

MoodFace does not upload any information to external servers. All calculations, mood generation, animations, and system monitoring occur entirely on your Mac. No information is stored outside your device.

Internet Connection

MoodFace does not require an internet connection to function. The application performs all of its work locally using information provided by macOS.

Third-Party Services

MoodFace does not use third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, tracking services, or data collection providers.

Children's Privacy

MoodFace does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect user data of any kind.
